The bees are resting for winter so the Honeybee Hive Tours are currently not running. We will have them back up and running in the spring of 2021. Watch this space for details.

Suit up for an apiary adventure where you’ll learn how honeybees, these tiny, yet powerful creatures live and work and why they are so vital to the local and global ecosystem.

Weather permitting, we’ll look inside the hive to reveal the inner workings of the honeybee colony.

Castlemaine Bee Sanctuary will provide the bee suits, you bring your sense of fun and adventure.

You’ll take home a jar of local honey and a wealth of knowledge about these amazing little insects and all they do to ensure the pollination of our flowers, fruits and vegetables.

The cost of the tour is $99 per person or $150 per couple.
